#015: More about Lovable
Little reminder: my Lovable course on moonlearning.io has been out since last week and is included in all memberships, so dig in!
🚨 If you already started the course and felt confused, there was a small hiccup. The first part (1. Basics) showed the wrong video sequence. This is now fixed. Thank you so much to those who caught it and let me know.
If you ever notice errors or anything that feels off while using Moonlearning, please do reach out. I’m a one-person company, and your feedback truly helps! 🚨
Posted the course, and boom, new stuff just dropped. I’m busy updating these amazing new features for you that came out yesterday (29th of January 26):
1. Integrated testing
This one is a mindblowing! Lovable actually runs through your product automatically. Clicks, inputs, flows. It finds problems without you manually poking at everything.
2. Queued prompts
Best time-saver: You can generate ideas while it’s working instead of waiting. Much smoother flow.
3. One-prompt authentication
Google sign-in was added in a single prompt. No developer console detours.
4. Pre-build planning
Better questions up front and a clear plan before anything is built. Makes a real difference over time, especially with databases.
Trying to keep a course current while all of this ships in real time is… a lot. But it’s a very good problem to have.
Tip: Lovable UI Styles
It’s very easy to build with Lovable, but many apps end up looking very… Lovable-ish. You will notice the same Tailwind haircut everywhere.
I came across this UI style library by Lazar Jovanovic that I really like:
👉 uistyle.lovable.app
It shows the same component in different visual styles. Same structure, same UI, only the aesthetic changes. Each card comes with a prompt you can copy and use to recreate that style in your own project, including Lovable.
If you’re building with Lovable and want to push past the default Tailwind look, this is a solid starting point. Not the final destination for me as a designer, but a good road to be on. I also cover some ways to bring Figma designs into Lovable. It's not perfect, but I got a few hacks for you in my course.
Builder Showcase
I’m working on a (Solo) Builder Showcase focused on real, shipped products built by solo founders and micro teams. Courses, tools, SaaS, communities, anything. I’m especially interested in lesser-known builders who are doing great work under the radar and deserve more visibility. Feel free to send people my way by replying to this email or on LinkedIn.

Note: While collecting examples, I realised I have far too few female builders so far. If anyone comes to mind, please share names on my LinkedIn post here. Yes, you can name yourself. Even if you’re just starting. Don’t be shy!
Wake up Excited Podcast
I joined Brad Frost on his "Wake Up Excited" podcast. The episode is now out on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Probably the loveliest intro summary someone ever wrote about me, thank you, Brad ❤️.
